Getting to us is easy. We are 90 minutes from London by train with local stations (Sudbury and Bury St Edmunds) approx. 15-20 minutes away by taxi.

A car is not essential as so many of the attractions are literally on your door step. If you are driving, allow the following times; London (Central) – 70 miles (2 hours) London (East) – 60 miles (90 minutes) London (Heathrow) – 90 miles (2 hours) London (Stansted) – 37 miles (55 minutes) Cambridge – 40 miles (50 minutes)

Lavenham is situated on the A1141 between Bury St Edmunds and Hadleigh.

It can also be reached via the B115 and the B107 from Sudbury.

The A1141 leads into Lavenham via Water Street. Hour Cottage is on the right hand side approx. 100yds before the ‘T’ junction onto the Main Street.
